This is a close shot of a page from my very first submission for Marvel Comics.
In this time (more than 12 years ago), I was very interested in showing every small detail and realizing a very finished pencil. My biggest influences were Neal Adams, Frank Brunner and other major authors of the old school, before Liefeld and his impossible positions. That's why my vision of DD was an athlete before a superhero.
I hope to be able to post 5 pages of this old submission on next days so that you could see the whole lot.
