Wolfblack... and white
Before Frank Miller was using successfully the clair-obscure style with his Sin City, there were other artists who used this technique. Breccia, for example. Anyway, it was with Sin City when many artists tried out this high contrasts style: Lee, Sale...
This illustration belongs to this time. I have to I have to recognize that more influenced by Deathblow's Jim Lee than for Miller.
Only white, only black, only bleeds.
