Drokk it!

I am just drawing an illustration for all the friends at 2000 AD Forums. As you can suppose, it's about Judge Dredd. Unfortunately I have not had enough time to finish it today, so by now I'm posting an old submission (circa 1996) to wish all of you a Very Very Happy New Year!

Unsuccessful Xperiments

Before I was deciding the style that finally I used, I did several tests to form Alan Moore's Hypothetical Lizard magic universe.
From the beginning I left the idea of using simple black & white art and I was getting excited about using textures and volumes.
This experiment was realized completely to pencil.
The result was hot, but I was not feeling portrayed the world of the hypothetical lizard.
Now, you are the first ones in seeing these examples. Not even my editor in Avatar knew of them.

Yep. Another sketch used to produce the final artwork for Marvel's trading card.
Altough Cap is so serious this time, I'm pretty sure he's saying Best Wishes and a Happy Christmas for all of you.

Call him Dodo

Work in progress for a book cover, containing the stories of Douglas Dodo Drexler, a troublemaker created and written by my brother for the magazine Pulp!
The character is basically what you see: a big tough ex-boxer, drinker, surrounded by danger, with lots of beer, blood and hole bullets.

Cimmerian's joke

An old drawing, an old joke... and an very old character.
I know that Lobo's joke is previous and more famous, but when I realized this drawing for the cover of a magazine, I could not avoid repeat it.
