Caza...hunters

Cromsblood from ultimateconanfan.blogspot.com (if you are a true fan of sword & sorcery genre, please: visit the blog. You do not be let down), was kind enough to translate my Conan's short story Hunters.
Now I'm using that translation for you all to see.
Y'know: big hugs to Cromsblood!

Pirates boarding!

Another Conan's pin-up. This time, paying more attention to Bêlit. Who is she? In the fictional universe of Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian, Bêlit is a pirate queen who has a romantic relationship with Conan. She is Conan's first serious lover. She appears in Howard's Conan novelette "Queen of the Black Coast". And now, she is here, fierce, asking for boarding an enemy's ship...

Conan the pencilled

This one is one of the first examples that I sent to the publishers to show my artwork. Probably about 1994-1995, and it's Totally drawn in pencil. I drew it on 2 oblong A4 and took advantage of this size to draw little details as the hair of the girl, Conan's axe or the scaly skin of the monster.
I sent the original ones to the publishing house and I only kept a photocopy of the work, where there were lost the majority of these details. But what is worse: the two a4 were not fitting good and you can see the shade that appears where they join, as well as certain twisted image... Anyway: I got the job.

Colors of the snow

Tim is working now on the second page. He says that this sample is not definitive, although I think it's pretty good.
Just take a look yourself.

Cimmerian colors

My friend Tim Tilley (http://www.linkedin.com/in/timtilley) is a freelance colorist who is doing now his magic in the Conan's short history you've seen in b/w.
I am eager to see all these colored pages. By now, you can verify how he's doing with the first one.

HUNTERS (8-8)

Closing the circle: Conan the triumphant.
Where there was a small bonfire, now there is a great bonfire.
Where there were a few wretched surpluses to eat, now there is a banquet.
Where there was a shabby cap, now there is a great fur coat.
Where there were two enemies, now there is an alliance.
Where there were a monster beast, now there is a legend...

HUNTERS (7-8)

The battle in the snow:
"I feel a change
Back to a better day
(shape shift)
Hair stands on the back of my neck
(shape shift)
In wildness is the preservation of the world
So seek the wolf in thyself
"
(Of wolf and man - Metallica)

HUNTERS (6-8)

And here is the beast...
the ripper...
the tearer...
the slasher...
the teeth in the darkness...
the talons in the night...
his name's strength. And lust. And power!!!

Cimmerian's joke

An old drawing, an old joke... and an very old character.
I know that Lobo's joke is previous and more famous, but when I realized this drawing for the cover of a magazine, I could not avoid repeat it.
